CAMPBELL HIGH SCHOOL "Panthers" -  Smyrna, Georgia
Class of '63
BULLETIN BOARD
NEWS:

09.24 WE HAVE AN AUTHOR AMONGST US!

Our classmate, Mike (Mickey) Terry, has authored a book about the restoration of the Taylor-Brawner House where our reception was held on Friday night. A Simpler Time chronicles the true stories of the Taylor and Brawner families as they moved from rural Virginia and Georgia to become respected community leaders in Atlanta and Smyrna. Terry has compiled and blended many captivating stories and never-seen-before photos into an engaging story of life in an era that many considered a simpler time.

This formidable historic preservation project, taken on by The Taylor-Brawner House Foundation, culminated in the saving of the historic Taylor-Brawner House and the inclusion of the house and famous Brawner Hospital on the prestigious National Register of Historic Places.

You can help with the continued maintenance and upkeep of this old house by purchasing the book. All proceeds go to the Foundation for this purpose. The book sells for $25, but Mike has permission from the Board to offer it to his classmates (that would be us) at a special price of $20.

A Simpler Time would make an excellent Christmas gift. Show your support for Mike and this worthwhile project by sending your check, made payable to THE TAYLOR-BRAWNER HOUSE FOUNDATION, to the following address. The Foundation will pick up all shipping charges.

3480 Pinetree Drive
Smyrna, GA 30080

You can email Mike with your questions or comments.
